This place has a new name. It's called the Marina. Had breakfast there this morning and it was outstanding. Ordered the Harbour Breakfast. I never order eggs sunny side up because they always turn out burnt around the edges. I gave it a shot anyway and they came out perfect. Breakfast came with a pancake on the side, the best pancake I ever had in my life , I kid you not. Can't wait to go back to order the pancake breakfast with blueberries and or strawberries. My wife and I both had drinks she had a Bloody Mary and I had a Tequila Sunrise. Both drinks were excellent. Price was right, five bucks a drink.

Came for the Sunday brunch. While it was reasonably priced at $15.95 per person, it was very ordinary food. Not bad, but nothing you couldn't duplicate at home. The omelets were made to order as well as the waffles. Usually I don't like to fill up with an omelet at buffets but there just wasn't anything special to choose from. Bagels, salmon, deli meats, cheese and potatoes. Would have thought being on the water maybe some seafood? Just the salmon. The water view was nice of a small marina and it was nice to be able to sit outside. The owner was a nice English lady who was serving the deli meats. I did enjoy chatting with her and hearing the history about how it used to be a deli type of place before she bought it. She wanted to turn it into a waterfront restaurant and I do wish her lots of success. The server was a rather mature woman who took our drink order and came back 15 min later and totally forgot what we ordered. Forgot silverware. She did however remember to bring the check.

My husband & I went here about 3 months ago. Please take into consideration that this place is under new ownership. So if you weren't happy awhile back you could give it a try now. Beautiful view & good food.

Came with a group of friends and was really impressed! The selection of food was really diverse, pasta, burgers, flat breads, salads, lots of things for a group. And everything was delicious, great appetizers (I loved the fried brie) and also asked for a recommendation, which they said their fish and chips was a crowd favorite. It was awesome, really big, flaky piece of fish and the fries were really big, fresh cut fries. I'd recommend sitting outside if it's a nice day, as the inside isn't very inviting. My only complaint would be the service, they seemed totally off their game - not remembering what people ordered, not asking if we needed anything/refills, just not very customer service oriented. But that aside, I'd definitely go back!

Went with a group for Easter brunch. When we arrived we were seated outside. The service was almost non-existent we wait d for about 15 before someone came to ask for a drink order. When inside I was underwhelmed by the selection of food crab Mac n cheese which I found very tasty. Some potatoes limp bacon, and a selection of three meats ham, pork tenderloin, and beef tenderloin. The beef I thought was very good but I like my beef on the rare side so it might have been a little under done for most. At the omelet/waffle bar there was also someone dedicated to making eggs Benedict which was good. They also had a good selection of fruit to put on the waffles as well. One of the major contributing factors to the two star rating I have was the fact that when I went to go grab some Eclairs from the pastry table there was flies all over everything. The limited selection of food and almost non-existent service is what earned them a two star review.

We've had several fabulous lunches in this nice little place on the Harbour during our stay in Cape Coral. Last night we decided to try dinner. We sure weren't disappointed. The service, our appetizers, and the crab cake dinners we had were amazing. One of the best meals we've had during our stay here.

My boyfriend and I ate at Pignoli for the first time yesterday, hoping for a nice Sunday brunch. The very first impression we were given of the establishment was walking into what appeared to be a break room/abandoned private party. Seated at the only table was what looked like the entire staff of the restaurant. We stood there; they stared at us. No "welcome!," no "how many in your party?" Nothing. Awkward silence. We were about to turn around and walk back out when finally one woman stood up and asked us if we wanted a table. Gee, you think? This introduction set the tone for the service from there on out. We were shown outside to the waterfront seating and told to help ourselves to the buffet -- the only option on Sunday mornings (something we weren't aware of prior to showing up) -- back inside the odd, back-stage-like room. The spread looked like the complimentary breakfast offering at a Hampton Inn, left out for several hours. We were told that in addition to what was seen, there was also an omelette station and waffles made-to-order. However, we were never told WHERE these stations were, and it was only after a round of untoasted bagels and undercooked prime rib that we discovered the stations (and the toaster) -- at the window of the kitchen -- an area that hardly looked customer-friendly (then again, nothing about the room looked like customers were supposed to be freely roaming about). Service continued to be lacking. Water was never refilled unless specifically requested long after glasses were empty, we were never asked if we wanted another round of beverages, and when I asked if they had Tobasco sauce, the waiter replied, "yes," and then never actually brought it. Perhaps he thought I was just surveying the restaurant's stock? When I finally walked inside to ask again for the sauce, I was told once more, "yes, we have that," before I gawked at the kid long enough for him to realize I was asking him to GIVE ME THE SAUCE, PLEASE. Meanwhile, my boyfriend stood at the waffle station window waiting for the attention of the cook so long that he finally gave up and came back empty handed. The food (what we were able to try) was meh. Nothing special. Plain mini bagels from the likes of Costco and plain cream cheese with a few toppings, over-salted potatoes, limp bacon, overly greasy sausage, oily crab mac and cheese (real crab though -- I will give them that), a carving station of questionably cooked meats, and a decent omelette made by a disgruntled cook who seemed annoyed by my very presence (at least I wasn't asking for a waffle?). This could have been a 4-star review if the service were something above "non-existent" and the bill below $20. Sadly, for two people with one mimosa each, we were looking at $55 post-tip and a staff that clearly had no interest in working on a Sunday morning.

I moved to Cape Coral a year ago and this is our go-to place if we want to overlook the boats and water and eat good food in a small restaurant with great service. Seriously, one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life - THAT'S RIGHT FOLKS, I SAID, "IN MY LIFE!!" - was from this place. I've had breakfast here a few times and it's always been very good. However, I never have tried the breakfast buffet. The service is always excellent. The waitresses are very friendly and competent and will remember you if you return. If you are visiting Cape Harbor, I recommend Pignoli on the Harbour.

This was the worst breakfast my family has ever had! My son ordered pancakes with blueberries. We were later informed they were out of blueberries but he was offered sausage instead (strange substitution)! We said any fruit would do, but they didn't have any even though other menu items (very limited menu by the way) came with various fruit toppings. HELLO this is FLORIDA how hard is it to keep fruit stocked? And how about some fresh OJ instead of the canned OJ! My son's OJ came with ice in it if that says anything! When his pancakes did arrive they were actually charred and greasy, YES greasy. There was no way he was eating them! He didn't eat the burnt sausage either. The waitress did comp the pancakes but is beyond me how she could serve them to a customer to begin with. Our omelets were not good either. My husband commented there was probably a half strip of bacon total in his. Didn't care for the potatoes either. The toast came out and only about the top 1/4 of it was toasted - did it not fit in the toaster? When we did get butter, it was frozen. This restaurant is located in a very nice marina so I expected a bit more. We would have been better off going to the local Denny's. Very disappointed.

First off for a place with an Italian name it had poor food. The service was mediocre our waitress asked us to hurry and order because she was busy with 2 other tables. This place was empty durring lunch so saying she was busy was bs. We got water and the glasses were filthy with stains on the inside that I could scrape off with my nail. After a long wait for our food the sandwiches were poor. I got a simple club sandwich. The menu said it had mayo but this sandwich was dry. Even the tomato was dry. The chips it came with were either soggy or stale I couldn't figure out which. So rude service and poor food. They should change their name to something that's not Italian because that was appalling.

We were disappointed to find that brunch actually ends and 1pm, not 2pm. The woman who greeted us seemed pleased with herself to be able to tell my family and me that the restaurant was closed. She was also very eager to provide NO assistance or advice on other restaurants that might be similar. In short she was rude and unpleasant to the point that we won't be back. To be fair, the chef that we spoke to was polite and offered some suggestions.

Loud! Not from people (there was no one there) but from the walk in cooler. The roast beef was tough, the chips were stale, the salad was served with lovely little pieces of green plastic wrap and no dressing. Also, the bathroom door was so sticky/greasy I wanted to take a shower when I got home.

The service was terrible. The waitress was not attentive. Never came came to fill Water glasses. We had to tell her we were ready to order. We had to ask for the bill. The food was just 'okay'. The fish and chips were good. The coleslaw and pizza were marginal. There was a hair in the salad. The pizza came out cold. The beer was lukewarm. I would not return. The atmosphere on the back deck was nice and so was the Band/singers

I am really questioning the 5 star reviews for this restaurant....We used to go to Pignoli's when it was a sandwich shop/deli and yummy. Decided to give the new Pignoli's a try based on the reviews :( I should have went with my first instinct, to flee, when my husband and I walked in and we were the ONLY ones in the restaurant (granted it was early, a little after 5). Apparently it was pasta night with unlimited appetizers (conveniently stored in crock pots on a table), again my thought was "leave, leave now while you can..." Unfortunately it was raining so we had to sit inside (I am sure sitting outside might have slightly improved this experience). Here's the bottom line on this experience: when you are sitting in a restaurant with yachts docked right outside you do not expect food service meatballs in a crockpot and precooked pasta (really?! not even homemade) sitting out in bowls waiting for you to pick out the toppings of your choice and have warmed in a pan. If you want cheap food and college town decor (electric blue, purple and orange??) then this is for you. Even the wine list was lame (5 pinot noirs, 1 malbec and 1 merlot-for the red selection)-not to mention the army of fruit flies I was fighting for my glass of wine. I am generally not a harsh reviewer, but this was really a disappointing experience, and I cannot believe the 5 star reviews.

Great little restaurant in a cool little shopping area. My wife and I really enjoyed our dinners at this quant, family run and friendly restaurant. She had a freshly made Angus burger that was thick and juicy with home made steak fries. Looked and tasted like a burger from some of those overpriced gourmet burger joints for 9 bucks. I had their speciality shrimp and scallops over linguine. A light and not overly garlic sauce. Awesome. We also had calamari that was tasty but too much breading for my taste. Not sure I loved the layout of this restaurant. The decor was a little sparse, but the food more than made up for it. We were there on Thursday night which happens s to be all you can eat pasta night. Cool set up of 10 or more items to mix in with your choice of pastas. Very popular, but I had my mind set before I got there so ill have to try it next time. Service was great. Owners very involved and friendly. It was 58 degrees the night we went so there was no crowd, but a great deck out back looking over the harbor. Owner said their Sunday brunch is very popular and from the description of the spread, we will be there Sunday before heading back home.

Friendly service with a nice view of the water. Started with very yummy bruschetta. The entrees were fish & chips, Blackened Mahi, California Burger, and Caribbean Mango chicken. All of the entrees were good but the fish & chips were a hit. Highly recommend. I will be back.

We ordered 2 platters and the portions are huge! Everything is fresh. The staff is so friendly. Excellent selection of wines. The area is superb. Quaint decor. I'll definitely make a stop there again.
